The Souvenir Committee of the World Kannada Conference (August 30th, 31st and September 1st  2002, Detroit, Michigan) is proud to announce the following two publications to be released in the World Kannada Conference 2002.

"Spandhana" Smarana Sanchike - World Kannada Conference Souvenir

"Chandhana" Swagatha Sanchine - Programs & Events guide 

The objective of "Spandhana" is twofold: to reflect the rich cultural heritage of Karnataka and  Kannada and to discuss the contemporary issues, experiences and challenges faced by the non-resident Kannadigas. This is a magazine of Kanndigas, by Kannadigas and for Kannadigas. 

The objective of "Chandhana" is to present a programs and events guide to all the attendees of the conference with artists information. This will also serve as a guide to local Metro Detroit area information and other tourist attractions.
